About the Author
I spent over a decade in corporate HR — from startups to publicly traded companies, from building teams of 10 to restructuring organizations of thousands. I've been a Chief Human Resources Officer, an HR Business Partner at senior director level, and the person everyone came to when things got hard.
I also burned out. Badly.
When I finally stopped long enough to understand what had happened to me, I discovered that burnout isn't a motivation problem — it's a neurological one. My background in psychology and neurobiology helped me see the patterns: the HPA axis dysregulation, the chronic cortisol exposure, the prefrontal cortex going offline.
That discovery became the foundation for everything I build now.

Your Brain on Burnout (Coming 2026) — The neuroscience of remote work burnout. Why Zoom fries your brain. Why loneliness rewires your cells. Featuring the original REMOTE Stress Framework — a six-dimension model mapping the neurobiological pathways of remote work burnout.
Wired to Burn Out (Coming 2026) — The companion workbook to Your Brain on Burnout. A neuroscience-based recovery workbook with a 30-question burnout assessment, vagus nerve protocols, boundary scripts, and a complete 90-day recovery plan.
My work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, corporate culture, and human performance. Every book, tool, and assessment I create is grounded in peer-reviewed research — from the HPA axis and cortisol biology to prefrontal cortex function and vagus nerve regulation.
The REMOTE Stress Model — measuring Role Blur, Empathy Depletion, Micro-Surveillance, Osmotic Loneliness, Techno-Overload, and Escapelessness — is the first neuroscience-based burnout framework designed specifically for the remote workforce. Over 2,000+ professionals have taken the free assessment.
I write for people who have given too much to organizations that took too much — and who are ready to understand their brains and rebuild.
The science is clear. Recovery is possible. Let's start.
